Patanjali Ayurveda Kendra Pvt Ltd was officially inaugurated by Param Pujya Yog Risi Swami Ramdevji Maharaj & Ayurveda Shiromani Rishikalpa Acharya Shree Balkrishnaji Maharaj on 27 September 2007 (2064/6/10 B.S.) and started its operation as an Patanjali Ayurveda Kendra Pvt Ltd at swoyambhu, Katmandu, Nepal with the ultimate aim of providing holistic, natural and effective Ayurveda treatment.

The Kendra was committed in taking the guidance of all the advanced methods of effective treatment procedures of Ayurveda. The Center was equipped with Ayurvedic Doctors, Pathology Department, Pharmacy, Counseling Department and many more facilities. The Ayurvedic doctors were trained from Haridwar and in-house for a minimum period of 2-3 months before being put into professional practice.
Patanjali Ayurveda Kendra had made achievements in treating thousands suffering from diseases like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, low backache, cervical spondylosis, psoriasis, allergic respiratory disorders, multiple sclerosis, age-related mental stress, and rheumatic diseases. Ayurveda is a holistic healing science. Going beyond just curing an ailment, Ayurveda aims at the total well being of the individual – his mind, body, and spirit.
Patanjali Yog Trust of Hardwar, India provides its services through three main bodies here in Nepal.
They include:
1) Patanjali Yog Peeth Nepal, Mandikhatar, Kathmandu: This is concerned with the farming of medicinal plants and producing Ayurvedic medicines. It has got a big land in Kavre for herbs production and medicine manufacture.
2) Patanjali Yog Samiti, Man Bhawan, Lalitpur: This is concerned with Yoga training and Yoga Camps. It has built a yoga center in Syangja which was inaugurated by President Ram Baran Yadav, Swami Ramdev, and Acharya Bal Krishna. Syangja is the birthplace of Acharya Bal Krishna.
3) Patanjali Ayurveda Kendra Pvt. Ltd, Swayambhu, Nepal. It is concerned with the supply of the products of Patanjali. Sewa Kendras appointed by us has to offer similar facilities as we do besides selling medicines and other products at the printed price. They also have to appoint doctors who are to give free consultations, and yoga teachers who are to give free lessons.
At present, it has 25 Sewa Kendras, 5 in Kathmandu Valley and 20 in other parts of the country.
