Sri Narasimha Astottara Nama Stotram
This is made of 108 names of Lord Narahari, Nrisimhadeva. This is often chanted by the pujaris or priests in the temple when they are offering flowers dipped in sandalwood to the feet of the deities.

narasimho mahasimho
divya simho mahabala
ugra simho maha deva
stambajash chogra lacana
Half man half lion. Great lion. Transcendental lion. Greatly strong. Terrible lion. Greatest of demigods. Born of a pillar. Possessor of terrible eyes.

Text 2
raudra sarvadbhuta shriman
yoganandas trivikramah
harim kolahalash chakri
vijaya jaya vardhana
Angry One. The all wonderful. Who is accompanied by Lakshmi. The one blissful in yoga. The tallest. Lord Hari. One who roars. The holder of the Sudarshana. Ever glorious. Always victorious.

panchananah param brahma
chaghoro ghoravikramaha
jvalan mukho jvalamaha
maha jvalo maha prabhuh
One with five mouths. Supreme Brahman. Horrible One. Whose activites are terrible. Possessor of flaming mouth. Possessor of fiery garland. Greatly fiery. Great master.

nitilaksha sahasrakso
dumirikshyah parantapaha
maha damstra yudhah prajnas
chandakopi sadashivaha 
Whose eyes resemble sesame seeds. Thousand eyed One. Who is difficult to see. Chastiser of enemies. Possessor of great teeth. Expert in war. Who is angry at Chanda (a demon, brother of Prachanda). Always auspicious.

hiranyaka-nisudana
daitya danava bhanjanaha
guna bhadro maha bhadro
bala-bhadrah subhadrakaha 
The killer of Hiranyakasipu. The threatener of the daityas and the danavas. One with auspicious qualities. Greatly auspicious. Possesor of auspicious strength. The very auspicious one.

karalo vikaratals cha
vikarta sarva-katrika
shishumaras trilokatma
ishah sarveshvara-vibhuh 
Fearful One. Very fearful. Non-doer. The doer behind everything. The killer of the killer (Hiranyakashipu). The soul of the three worlds. The controller. The controller of everything. Master.

bhairava-dambharo divyas
chachyutah kavi madhavaha
adhokshajo ‘ksharah sarvo
vana-mali vara-pradaha 
Whose activities are fearful. Transcendental. Infallible. Poet. The husband of the goddess of fortune. Beyond material conception. Indestructible. All in all. Adorned by a garland of forest flowers. Giver of benedictions.

vishvambaro ‘dbhuto bhavyaha
shri-vishnuh purushottamaha
anangastro nakshatras cha
suryo jyotir sureshvaraha 
The maintainer of the universe. The wonderful one. Ever existing. The all pervading. The best person. The holder of Cupid’s weapon. Star. The effulgent sun. Lord of all demigods.

sahasra bahuh sarvagyaha
sarva-siddhi pradayakaha
vajra-dhamstro vajra-nakho
mahananda param-tapaha
Thousand handed on. Knower of the everything. Bestower of all mystic poers. Whose teeth are like thunderbolts. Whose nails are like thunderbolts. Greatly blissful. The highest of ascetics.

sarva-yantra vidaranaha
sarva tantra mahavyaktaha
suvyakto bhakta-vatsalaha 
The form of all mantras. The destroyer of all obstacles in the path of progress. The goal of all rituals. The unmanifested One. Whose manifestation is auspicious. The protector of the devotees.

vaishaka-shukla bhutoltha
sharanagata-vatsalaha
udara-kirtih punyatma
mahatma chanda-vikramaha 
Who is born in the month of Vaishakha in shukla paksha. The up holder of the earth planet. Affectionate to those surrendered unto Him. Whose fame is spread all over. Pure soul. Great soul. Glorified in the Vedas.

vatatrayo prapujash cha
bhagavan parameshvaraha
shri-vatsamkah shri-nivaso
jagad-vyapi jaganmayaha 
Who is worshipped by the three deities (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva). The Supreme Personality of Godhead. The Supreme controller. Who is marked by the Sri Vatsa. The shelter of Sri (Lakshmi). Who pervades through the universe. Whose body is the universe.

jagat palo jagannatho
mahakyo dvirupabrit
paramatma param-jyoti
nirgunash cha nri-keshari 
The protector of the universe. The Lord of the universe. Who is known as the Great One. Who has two features (man and lion). The supersoul. Supreme Effulgence. Who is devoid of material qualities. Half man half lion.

para-tattvam param-dhama
sat-chid-ananda-vigraha
lakshmi nrisimha sarvatma
dhira prahlada-palakaha 
The highest truth. The highest abode. Whose form is sat-chid-ananda. Lakshmi-Nrisimha, the soul of all living beings. The protector of the sober Prahlada.
